Marker was a short lived series on UPN. It starred Richard Grieco as a guy who comes to Hawaii and finds that his estranged but rich father has died. Gates played the father's widow. The show was pretty bad. Not only did it have bad scripts and bad acting, but the production values were pretty low. I think the only reason Gates agreed to do the show was that they got to film on location in Hawaii and Gates wasn't in too many scenes so she probably could relax on the beach most of the time.
