I get this kind of question (or request) a lot. While I'm happy to listen to requests, I am not in the
habit of fulfilling them. Running a web site is a lot of work. I have no intention of starting one
for an actress that I have little or no interest in. While I certainly may agree with you that the
actress is pretty, lots of times the requests I get are not even of people who are hard to find on the
net. Sometimes I may like an actress a lot, but have found that they are not underrepresented on
the net (Markie Post is a good example). With only a few exceptions (Gates McFadden is one I
can think of), if another site dedicated to that actress exists already, I won't start another.
I also am not in the habit of keeping a lot of extraneous pictures. What you see on my sites is pretty much all the pictures I have. I am also no expert in tracking down pictures. I can't magically find you pictures of your favorite actress. If you are that interested in finding pictures, please check out the links on my links page - there are some pretty good resources there for tracking down actress pictures.
3. Why don't you have more information on the actresses on the pages?
There are a couple of reasons. The main one is that these are PICTURES pages. My main goal is
to provide free pictures to everyone. It would be a lot more work to have a bunch of information
on the pages as well, and I'd have to keep that information updated. Also, if you really need info
on the actress, there are plenty of places on the net to get information about all sorts of actresses.
Pictures are much harder to find that just info. I'll provide some information on the pages, but
these are not fan sites, they are picture sites.
4. Where can I write the actress? Do you have her email address?
The answer is that I have no information on how to contact them. Again, these are picture pages, not fan pages. I know a little bit about each of the actresses but not a whole lot.
5. Please improve the resolution of your pics.
I get this one a lot, although as the pics have improved they have tapered off. Please see my "A
Note on Resolution" page for information on how I go about scanning in. There are still a few
pictures I need to go back and re-do, but I've re-scanned just about every picture on the site
(except for the ones that people contributed). Obviously, I have no control over the quality of
pictures that are contributed. Please feel free to criticize the pictures if you want, I ask only that
you be specific as to which pictures you have problems with. Just saying "improve the resolution
of your pictures" does not help me at all. If, however, you say "please improve the resolution on
jo045.jpg if you can, it looks sorta fuzzy", then I can at least go and take a closer look at the pic
and see what I can do. At the very worst, I can offer you an explanation as to why the resolution
is poor on that particular pic. Sometimes I'll actually be able to improve the picture.
6. I am running (or starting) a web site on one of the actresses on your pages, would you
mind if I used some of your pictures on my page
I consider all of my pictures to be in the public domain. Therefore, I have no legal way to prevent
you from using them (as if a legal way would actually mean anything on the I\nternet). My goal is
to provide free pictures to all who want them, so I guess I have no problem with other sites using
my pictures. I do have a few guidelines (or suggestions) if someone want to do this: (1) Please do
not alter the pictures (i.e. add a nipple so that the person looks nude, put your name on it as if
you scanned it in, put the head on a nude models body). I don't really mind altering in the
sense
of cutting out extraneous parts, making it smaller, or editing out nude parts (if you have a PG
site), its the stuff that mutilates the pictures that I mind. (2) Please do not use the pictures to
make money. The pictures are meant to be distributed freely. I want all people to have access to
them. Therefore, please don't put them on a "pay" site. Also, please don't put them on one of those
Celebrity Nude CD's that are sold (but really only contain pics available for free on the net). (3)
Please do not SOLELY use my pics. I hope that this one is obvious. I would hope that anyone
starting their own site would have some original pictures of their own, or at least have pics that
are from a large variety of sources. Basically, I don't want people copying my sites entirely.(4) If
its at all relevant, please provide a link to my page on your site. I'll be happy to do the same if its relevant.
7. I sent you E-mail but I never heard back from you.
I generally answer EVERY piece of e-mail I get (unless its verbally abusive), usually pretty quickly. Therefore, if you didn't get a
response, something went wrong. Your letter may never have gotten to me. My letter may have
been lost. Something that has happened a few times is that the address is people's "reply-to" box
is wrong and I get my response back with an error message. Make sure I know what your address
is so I can e-mail you back. Also, a few people's servers seem to be "out of range". I don't really
know how this is possible, but you may want to check with your access provider. If you can't
receive e-mail from an AOLer, you probably can't get e-mail from lots of people.
